 Poly Lift Boat Lifts can’t wait for the spring boating season to finally set in, and we’re drawing ever closer! To celebrate a little ahead of time, we thought it would be fitting to highlight the upcoming boating events at the Lake this April. If you’re an avid boater or simply enjoy the Lake lifestyle, you won’t want to miss these events. You can make your reservations or get more information below!



04/10: SAILBOAT RACE #1 AT OZARK YACHT CLUB

Ozark Yacht Club is home to the Ozark Sailing Club. Racing is free and no preregistration is required. Racing is a great introduction to sailing while being supported by seasoned sailors. Racing is also a great way to practice your sailing skills. Crew with beginner to advanced sailing skills and experience are welcome.

Race meetings are held on Dock U at 11:00 a.m. before each race. Races begin at Noon, near the gas dock. Race end times depend on wind and scheduled races. Bring something for the post-race potlucks. Our potlucks are a great place to socialize with those who love to sail.

April In Water Boat Show by Lake of the Ozarks Marine Dealers Association come see a variety of boats including new cruisers, performance, and runabouts and personal watercraft.

04/17 – 04/18: SPRING BIG BASS BASH

The Big Bass Bash is a bass tournament designed for amateurs only. Its unique format allows the weekend angler a chance to win big money like the professionals. Unlike most fishing tournaments which have a team arrangement where prizes are based on total weight, the Big Bass Bash format is distinctive in that it only takes one fisherman just one big bass to win.

The prize money for the Spring Big Bass Bash will total over $250,000 payouts with $100,000 to the winner.

Anglers can launch from anywhere on Lake of the Ozarks. The Big Bass Bash will have four weigh-in stations to accommodate the anglers: PB2 (Grand Glaize State Park), Red Oak Resort, Alhonna Resort, & Point Randall Resort.
